Resale Buying Policy

At Caterpillar Kids, we are proud to be able to offer new and gently used baby clothing. If you are interested in selling your clothing, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the following policy:

  • We accept baby clothing only; simple onesies to expensive outfits, new or used, with or without original tags

  • All clothing must be freshly cleaned/laundered (within a week of the appointment)

  • NO stains, rips, odors, pet hair or fading

  • Sizes preemie to 4T only

  • We typically will pay more for brand name clothing or items with originals tags

  • We accept seasonal clothing all year long, including costumes and dressup outfits

  • Maximum 50 pcs (sets are counted as one item) are allowed per appointment. Please schedule a second appointment if necessary.

  • Appointments are accepted everyday, both mornings and afternoons; Drop-off your items one day, pick up your offer and payment the next day (or within a week)

How much will you receive?

Based on the estimated resale value determined by Caterpillar Kids, you will receive 30% in cash or 45% in store credit. Store credit will be placed onto a gift card that has a 5 year exp.


All items Caterpillar Kids are unable to purchase will be returned to the customer or donated to charity upon request. Donation slips for tax purposes are also available.
